Climate protection through solar power

  Every installation of renewable solar power replaces climate-damaging fossil fuels. Our ground-mounted parks prevent an average of 500–600 tonnes of CO₂ per megawatt peak (MWp) per year.

  Unlike coal or gas, photovoltaics does not require water and does not cause air pollution, it does not lead to the depletion of mineral resources and does not leave behind any nuclear waste products.

  We rely on certified modules, fair supply chains and recycling concepts to use resources efficiently from the start of production to the end of the system’s service life.

  We always strive to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. We achieve this by minimising sealed surfaces, removing any existing contamination and implementing compensatory measures in all parks to offset the ecological impact.

• Careful use of land
  Through optimised designs, we reduce the amount of land required and make use of unused areas. The ideal solution is to use conversion areas or areas affected by motorways or railways.
• Promoting biodiversity
  Flower strips next to the modules, insect-friendly border plantings and bee-friendly measures increase the ecological value of each plant.

  Single-axis trackers increase energy yield by up to 25% compared to fixed systems.
• Bifacial modules
  Light reflections from the surroundings are also utilised on the rear side, increasing overall performance.
